Bill Bennett’s celebration of life set

KELOWNA — A memorial for the province’s third-longest serving premier is scheduled for later this month.

Bill Bennett, who led B.C. as premier for 11 years, passed away on December 3, 2015 at his home in Kelowna.

A celebration of Bennett’s life is scheduled for Sunday, January 31 at 2:00 in the Grand Ballroom of the Delta Grand Hotel in Kelowna.

In lieu of flowers, Bennett’s family is requesting donations be made in his memory to the Alzheimer Society, 307-1664 Richter Street.
