RICHMOND, Calif. – Prosecutors in Northern California have charged a self-employed plumber who allegedly threatened to kill Muslim people outside a mosque with making criminal threats and hate crimes.
The Contra Costa Times reports that 55-year-old William Celli pleaded not guilty to the charges during his arraignment Wednesday.

Celli is accused of yelling “I’m going to kill you all” outside the Islamic Center of West Contra Costa County on Dec. 4 and of posting a picture of a pipe bomb on social media the same day.
The Times says Celli also posted that he would follow Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to “the end of the world.”

He was arrested on Sunday after a bomb squad safely detonated a device that the newspaper says police described as a pipe bomb but without the components that would cause an explosion attached.
