One injured after shooting in Brampton Tuesday night

TORONTO – Police say one person was injured following a shooting in Brampton overnight.

The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. in the area of The Gore Road and Ebenezer Road.

A grey BMW with bullet holes in the passenger door was located at the Brampton Civic Hospital.

Police say the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. Meanwhile, another occupant of the vehicle was not injured.

Authorities say a newer model Honda fled the scene following the shooting.

No suspect descriptions were made available and the investigation is ongoing.
