Regina Police take kids for Cop Shop

REGINA – Police officers in Regina have numerous responsibilities and today they had one more job to do.

On Wednesday 20 Regina Police officers paired up with less fortunate children and took them shopping, with the police officer acting as their chaperone in a cross-country tradition called Cop Shop

Each kid was given a $200 gift card from the Cornwall Centre and a new winter coat from Sears Canada. The kids were able to spend the gift card on whatever they want to purchase from the mall.

Once the kids started shopping it was tough to slow them down.
