LETHBRIDGE – A Lethbridge man faces multiple sexual assault and sexual interference charges in connection to the alleged assault of a 14-year-old girl.
Lethbridge Regional Police Service say a 34-year-old man met the girl at a mall on Nov. 28. The girl knew the man by an alias but did not know him well. Police say the assault happened later at a south side residence.
An investigation led to the subject being identified, located and arrested without incident.
Kalvin Freddy Spear Chief faces two counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference and one count of invitation to sexual touching.
He was remanded in custody and scheduled to appear in court Monday.
