WINNIPEG — Investigators from the RCMP and Winnipeg Police are hoping a new public awareness strategy will help generate leads in cases of missing and murdered exploited people in Manitoba.
Starting on Monday, Nov. 30 posters will be placed on Winnipeg Transit buses for four weeks.

The posters feature pictures of both missing people and homicide victims from 1972-2009 and different messages like “Can you help me find my killer?”, “Do you know who killed me?” and “Help bring them home.”
The campaign is part of Project Devote, a joint task force between RCMP and Winnipeg Police that focuses on missing and murdered exploited people.
“Project Devote is committed to identifying the persons responsible for the tragic deaths and disappearances we are actively investigating,” said RCMP Sgt. Rob Lasson, one of the Team Commanders for Project Devote in a news release.
