WATCH: Edmonton Eskimos, Ottawa Redblacks coaches talk Grey Cup strategy

WATCH ABOVE: Edmonton Eskimos head coach Chris Jones and Ottawa Redblacks head coach Rick Campbell sat down with the media Wednesday morning, where they talked about the upcoming big game, including the "headache" of being a head coach on Grey Cup week.

WINNIPEG — The leaders of the two teams going head-to-head for the biggest prize in the CFL spoke at the annual coaches conference Wednesday morning.

Edmonton Eskimos coach Chris Jones and Ottawa Redblacks coach Rick Campbell took to the stage at the Fairmont Hotel and answered questions from the media.

Both coaches talked about the road ahead for the 103rd Grey Cup on Sunday. From strategies, to game line ups, the coaches chatted about the player’s mindset when prepping for the big game.

Jones praised his players for big performances in the second half of the season, without starting quarterback Mike Reilly to get the Eskimos to the championship game.

“[The players] stayed the course, they believed in what we were doing,” said Jones

Campbell said his team’s biggest challenge is still to come.

“It’s the final run to the finish line,” said Campbell.  “But the recipe for winning does not stay the same. There is a big difference between winning the Grey Cup and losing the Grey Cup. We’re keeping our blinders on and staying focused.”
