A tanker truck fire has closed the Trans-Canada Highway through Kamloops.
Witnesses say a tanker was rear-ended by a pickup truck and caught fire early this morning, closing Highway 1 from the Summit Drive exit to the interchange with the Yellowhead Highway 5.

The driver of the tanker is not injured.
Traffic is being re routed through the city. Drivers are being told to check Drive BC for updates.
