Driver delays expected from rail line removal in Kelowna

KELOWNA – The removal of railway infrastructure in Kelowna could affect the motoring public.

CN Rail is removing the steel track and wood ties on the abandoned line it recently sold to Kelowna and other local governments.

Drivers are advised they could be delayed for up to 15 minutes Friday at the Dilworth Road crossing.

Next week, the crossing at McCurdy Road will be affected by the track removal.
