SASKATOON – The world of online dating can be quite superficial – it all comes down to a good profile picture. However one Saskatoon woman is hoping to put an end to this trend, and give internet dating a facelift.

Quitlooking.com is described as a site that will challenge people to put appearances aside and read a profile before seeing a photo. Right now it’s just an idea, and Emily Mui is looking for the necessary funds to hire someone to design her brainchild.

The kickstarter page for the site says it is “a dating site for people who are serious about meeting new people. For people who are shy and not entirely comfortable with online dating. For people such as police officers, politicians, teachers, social workers, doctors- people who don’t want their face plastered all over dating sites. ”
