“One of the pieces that we sampled was a piece of mine called ‘Studies of Cash’ and it’s set to all music by Johnny Cash,” says Orlando. “I’m really trying to show the diversity of the dancers here at Ballet Kelowna as well as attract, hopefully, a demographic that might really enjoy listening to that music and seeing dance performed to something a little bit different.”

The season begins with the classic holiday production of The Nutcracker, presented by The Canadian School of Ballet, featuring dancers from Ballet Kelowna.
