Before Rapid Transit officially launches in Winnipeg, on Sunday, Transit is inviting citizens to try out the service today.
Winnipeg Transit is offering free rides on its new Rapid Transit service Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Rapid Transit will have 13 routes, information on the new service can be found at http://www.winnipegtransit.com.
Today, the Rapid Transit buses will operate every 15 minutes. They will travel between Balmoral Station and the University of Winnipeg and Pembina Highway at Windermere via the Southwest Transitway, said Transit.
