RCMP searching for 2nd suspect after home invasion in Chaplin, Sask.

Saskatchewan RCMP are searching for a second suspect in after a home invasion and robbery Saturday. Officers were called to a residence in Chaplin, Sask. at around 4:25 a.m. CT.

RCMP say two men wearing bandanas had entered the home and demanded money from the residents. One of the suspects was carrying a rifle. The suspects fled in a vehicle with some stolen property and cash.

No injuries were reported.

Shortly after, RCMP located the suspect vehicle in a ditch in the Parkbeg, Sask. area and arrested one of the men. A rifle believed to have been used during the home invasion was also seized.

However, the second suspect remains at large.
