Breaking Bad star stops by downtown Halifax pub

HALIFAX – It seems Walter White likes the Irish.

Bryan Cranston, the actor best known for his portrayal of meth maker Walter White in Breaking Bad, stopped by the Old Triangle in downtown Halifax.

The restaurant tweeted a picture of the actor Wednesday afternoon along with the caption ‘Irish pub meets meth lab’.

The celebrity sighting excited fans of the actor and even prompted one local music festival to tweet him an invitation. A tweet from the Halifax Pop Explosion shows a wristband that has been set aside for “Walter White”.

There’s no word yet on whether the actor has taken the festival up on their offer.
