Jury in Bolsa trial finds Real Honorio guilty of murder

A man accused of gunning down three people in a Calgary restaurant three years ago has been found guilty.

28-year-old Real Honorio has been found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder and one count of second-degree murder in the shootings at Bolsa restaurant on New Year’s Day 2009.

Alleged gang-member Sanjeev Mann, his associate Aaron Bendle and innocent bystander Keni Su’a were all killed in the attack.

Much of the Crown’s case against Honorio centered on a so-called “Mr. Big” sting operation where Honario was the target.

Nathan Zucherrato and Michael Roberto were both given life sentences last year for their parts in the murders.
