Winnipeg police arrested 11
people in a major raid on organized crime across Winnipeg,
including the current president of the Manitoba Hells Angels Dale Sweeney.
150 officers have been
working on “Project Flatlined” since May 2011 after the Redlined support Crew, a
Hells Angels puppet club, became involved in a violent street gang war with
rival members from the Rock Machine.
The biggest raid was at
an upscale home in Waverley West, a brand new development in the city’s south
end.
Police were seen
removing a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a VW car from Sweeney’s garage on Autumnview Drive.
