MONTREAL – Police are investigating after an early morning shooting in Montreal North.
It happened around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday on Charleroi Street, near Hébert Avenue.
Police received a 911 call about shots being fired.
They arrived to find a 25-year-old man wounded in the abdomen.
He was rushed to hospital.

“His life is not in danger,” said Anie Lemieux with Montreal police.

“He is not cooperating so much with police officers.”
The K9 unit and investigators were on the scene looking for witnesses.
No arrests have been made.
