TORONTO – Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau watched from the stands as Baltimore thumped Toronto 10-2 at the Rogers Centre on Friday night.

The Jays are now 0 and 3 with federal leaders in attendance.

Orioles first baseman Chris Davis homered twice off Blue Jays starter Drew Hutchison and Adam Jones went deep off Bo Schultz to give Baltimore (65-69) three straight wins between the two clubs.

The loss was the Blue Jays’ (76-58) first defeat by more than three runs since July 4, when they fell 8-3 to the Detroit Tigers.

The Jays loss, coupled with the Yankees’ 5-2 win over Tampa Bay, cut Toronto’s lead in the American League East division to a half game.

Ubaldo Jimenez (10-9) went 5 2/3 innings, allowing one earned run on four hits while walking six and striking out four.
