KAMSACK, Sask. – A man has been found dead in a stolen car in east-central Saskatchewan. A landowner came upon the car in one of his fields in the Kamsack area.
Mounties say the car had been reported stolen on Aug. 15.
Investigators say the driver, a 22-year-old man from the Keeseekoose First Nation, was attempting to cross the field when he collided with a dry ravine wall.
They believe the car was in the field for 10 days before being discovered.

The identity of the driver was unknown and there were no missing person reports matching the description of the man.
He was identified after an autopsy on Thursday. His family has been notified but police will not be releasing his name.
Mounties say the death is not considered suspicious.
