Lasalle water main break closes street

LASALLE – Firefighters responded to a water main break in Lasalle Monday night.

It happened on Lemieux Street at the corner of Shevchenko Boulevard.

Water quickly accumulated on the road and threatened several properties, but no one was evacuated and flooding was avoided.

Lemieux Street is closed while repairs continue.
