Federal Election 2015: Kings—Hants riding results

Summary: This campaign sees a rematch between Liberal incumbent Scott Brison, and the Conservative candidate, former provincial cabinet minister David Morse.

Boundaries: This is one of the NS ridings along the Fundy shore, with Windsor at its centre. It also includes East Hants and Kentville. The boundaries of this riding are the same as they were in 2011.

Last Election: Liberal incumbent Scott Brison defeated Conservative David Morse by 1,173 votes.

History: Brison has represented this riding since 1997 (with the exception of briefly resigning so PC leader Joe Clark could run in a by-election). First elected as a PC, Brison crossed the floor to the Liberal party in 2003. He is considered popular in this riding, but his victory in 2011 was a close one.
