Federal Election 2015: Parry Sound-Muskoka riding results

Summary: Conservative MP and President of the Treasury Board, Tony Clement, has represented this riding since 2006. He is seeking a fourth term.

Boundaries: Along with Muskoka and Parry Sound, this riding includes Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, and Georgian Bay. Its boundaries have not changed for this election.

Last Election: Clement won with 55.7 per cent of the vote, followed by NDP Wendy Wilson with 24.2 per cent.

History: This riding was created in 1949. First held by a Liberal for two terms, it was won by the PC Party in 1957, and stayed PC until it was won by Liberal Andy Mitchell in 1993. He kept the seat until his defeat by Clement in 2006.

Demographics: The median age in this riding as of the last census is 48.9, the highest in Ontario.
