TORONTO – A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot in Brampton overnight.
Peel police say the incident occurred around 11 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Zia Dodda Crescent and Via Romano Way.

Officers responded to the scene to discover the male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was transported to a Toronto trauma centre where he remains in serious condition.
Police have not released any information on possible suspects.
