Boston Bruins Milan Lucic’s church vandalized

VANCOUVER – East Vancouver native and Boston Bruins power forward Milan Lucic’s church has been vandalized.

Lucic’s girlfriend, Brittany Carnegie, posted a photo of the graffiti to her Twitter account on Thursday.

On the side of the St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church is large, black graffiti that reads “Fuck Lucic” and “Go Canuks (sic) Go,” along with crudely drawn genitalia.

“This is DISGUSTING!” Carnegie wrote. “Punks did this to Milan beloved church! So disgusted!”

The St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church is located in the 7800-block of Canada Way in Burnaby.

This is not the first time vandals have gone after Lucic. Over the summer, posters of the 23-year-old were defaced at a cultural community and his mere presence at a Greek festival was enough to incite a brawl. Lucic himself was not involved in the fight.
