TORONTO — Canadian rapper Drake can add “wedding singer” to his list of credits.
The 28-year-old superstar performed July 16 at the reception for his longtime barber Jason Macaraig and wife Fariba at the York Mills Gallery in Toronto.
Drake, who arrived back in his hometown earlier in the week on a private jet from London, thrilled the newlyweds and their guests.
Wearing a black tuxedo with an open-collar white shirt, the “Started from the Bottom” star posed for photos and mingled with party-goers.

In his toast to the happy couple — which he wrote at a nearby outlet of The Keg steakhouse — Drake reminded Macaraig that he will still need his hair cut.
In addition to a quick performance, Drake also took a turn as DJ.
Macaraig has been styling the rapper’s hair for about a decade.
Drake’s appearance at the reception was documented on Instagram, of course.
