CALGARY – Police were called to the 200 block of Penworth Drive SE around 11:30 a.m. Sunday, after reports that someone was inside a home with a gun.
Officers surrounded the home and tried to keep nearby residents from coming outside near the scene.

Police say the situation was resolved around 2:30 p.m. and several people of interest were taken into custody.
No word yet on any charges.
Police say no firearm was discharged and no injuries were reported.
