TORONTO – Apple’s digital assistant Siri has a reputation for being a bit sassy (just ask her what zero divided by zero is) – but she has Caitlyn Jenner’s back.

Users who ask Siri questions about Jenner using her former name, Bruce Jenner, are now corrected by the digital assistant.

For example, if you ask Siri, “What is Bruce Jenner’s real name,” she will reply with, “The full name of Caitlyn Jenner is Caitlyn Jenner.”

The response was noted Wednesday after Jenner accepted the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs. During a 10-minute acceptance speech Jenner urged acceptance for transgender people and vowed to “do whatever I can to reshape the landscape of how transgender people are viewed and treated.”

“Trans people deserve something vital, they deserve your respect,” she said. “From that respect comes a more compassionate community.”

When asked, “How old is Bruce Jenner,” Siri also corrects users saying, “Caitlyn Jenner is 65.” However, some reports have noted that her answers vary.
