REGINA – ‘Back to the Future’ came out 30 years ago, but the province is looking to go back to the past this summer.
The government’s “History Alive!” series will feature live vignettes highlighting Saskatchewan’s rich history.
They will be performed on Mondays at the legislative building at the top of the hour from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
On Sundays and Tuesdays, Government House will be putting on the plays, also from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m..
The plays are meant to help illustrate history in an engaging way for all.
“In doing so, we provide our residents and visitors with a better understanding of Saskatchewan’s past, and a deeper emotional connection to a piece of our provinces heritage,” said heritage Saskatchewan CEO Ingrid Cazakoff.
The performances run until August 17th.
