MONTREAL – Pop culture and comic book fans take note: Comiccon lands in Montreal on July 3 (though you probably already knew that) with an array of activities suited for the whole family.
Jason Rockman, spokesperson for the event, promises “there’s something for everyone.”
The event will host a multitude of guests including Jason Mamoa from Game of Thrones and Clerks and Mallrats writer and director Kevin Smith.
Cos-players are always a welcomed attraction at the colourful convention – not to mention comic book vendors, panelists and much more.
“First and foremost, it’s a family event,” said Rockman.
“It’s designed to have something for everyone and it’s just so much fun.”

Ever since its first edition seven year ago, Comiccon has grown both in numbers and size.
Last year’s convention drew in 52,000 people, forcing organizers to expand.
“This year we’ve had to change the date to July because we needed the whole building,” said Rockman.
“That’s just how popular the event has gotten.”
Comiccon runs until Sunday, July 5 at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal.
May the force be with you all!
