CALGARY – Olympic gold medallist Meaghan Mikkelson and her husband have turned to Twitter to help them name their baby.
Mikkelson, a two-time gold medallist with Canada’s women’s hockey team, and her husband Scott Reid are expecting a son in September.
They’re asking people to send baby names to Mikkelson’s Twitter handle with the hashtag #NameMyBaby.
The couple will pick their eight favourite suggestions and then ask social media to vote on those names. They’ll pick their son’s name from the two that receive the most votes. Here are some of the tweets that came in on Tuesday:
