Firefighters battled a two-alarm house fire in Surrey early this morning.
It began around 1 a.m. at a residence on 99 Avenue at 159th Street.
The fire appears to have started in the garage and then climbed up to the roof.

No one was hurt and all six people living in the home got out safely.
Crews were able to contain the blaze, but there is extensive damage to the house and the family is expected to be displaced for some time.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
Investigators are expected back at the scene later today.
