Three thousand five hundred infant car seats, sold across Canada, are being recalled because of a possible faulty part.
Officials from Britax say a rivet may not have been attached properly, on a part that adjusts the length of shoulder straps. That could mean a child in not properly secured during a crash.

The recall applies to ‘Chaperone’ infant car seats sold in Canada between September 2010 and April 2011.
Anyone who owns this seat should contact Britax for a repair kit.
