MONTREAL — When was the last time you played street hockey with a defenceman for the Montreal Canadiens?

It’s a dream come true for many kids (and adults) — and on Sunday, eight-year-old hockey player Jack Fraser had a chance to stop a few goals from none other than P.K. Subban.

Subban grabbed a (child-sized) hockey stick and joined in the street hockey game — and a video posted to YouTube shows the youngster even managed to stop a few slapshots.

Part-time hockey coach and Westmount local tweeted a photo post-game, writing: “Thanks for putting a smile on all the kids (and the not so kids) in our street today.”

Apparently, Subban played for about five minutes and then posed for a few photos with local families in the neighbourhood.
