KYLE, Sask. – A search is underway in a remote and rugged area of Saskatchewan after a man fled a vehicle near Kyle. At around 4 p.m., officers were conducting a vehicle stop on Highway 4 when Aleksandr Levin, 48, ran into an area known locally as Matador Hills.

A plane from Civil Air Search and Rescue Association and a local helicopter assisted police in their search Friday evening but were unsuccessful.
