Highway 25 near Picture Butte has become collision prone recently.
On Monday and Tuesday RCMP have responded to four separate crashes.
The latest happened Tuesday afternoon, sending two people to hospital.
It occurred east of Picture Butte, near the entrance to the town’s golf course. A small red car slowed down to turn right onto Range Road 2-14 and was hit from behind by a white truck, crushing the backend of the car.
Both drivers, who are under 18 years of age, were rushed to hospital, but the extent of their injuries are unknown. RCMP said the driver of the car was in worse condition than the driver of the truck.
The crash occurred just hours after another collision at the intersection of Highway 25 and Highway 845 – the same location as another crash that occurred Monday.
Police said there is no common link to the four crashes, but believe they may be the result of drivers not paying attention to the road.
