OAKVILLE – The war between coffee shops is heating up as Tim Hortons’ releases it’s larger, extra-large size.
In Tim Horton’s corner, a 710-millilitre cup, with 24oz, which is the restaurant’s new extra large coffee-cup.
Next Monday “Timmy’s ” drinkers can order an extra large coffee and have more value for their money
This will change the current roster. The original small is now extra small, the medium is now small, large is now medium and the old extra large is now large. Prices will remain the same.

Caffeine in coffee can vary wildly depending coffee blend, roasting method, coffee variety. Today’s coffee lovers have created their own niche caffeine culture creating a competitive market for breakfast vendors.
Competing chains like Starbucks have their own 591-millilitre Venti as its largest hot coffee offering, as well as discounted sandwiches or wraps with purchase of a coffee January 16th through 22nd at participating Canadian stores, one week before the launch of the Tim’s cup.
McDonalds, who have redesigned their cups with similar brown branding have a coffee that is already on par in size. It’s McCafe brand also offers a wide range of their own authentic blend of %100 Arabica beans.
