KINDERSLEY, Sask. – A second Kindersley resident has won a million dollars this year, according to Saskatchewan Lotteries. Curtis Chester is the most recent winner.
He checked his lottery tickets and discovered he had won $1 million on the April 10 Western Max draw. He bought his winning ticket at Midtown Foods on 1st Street West in Kindersley.

Chester says telling his wife they’re millionaires was a great way to top off the day.
“I got home from work, told her and she just started freaking out,” said Chester.
As for his winnings, Chester says the money is going to make retirement come a little easier.
He’s not the only lucky resident in the southwestern Saskatchewan town.
Patricia Desjarlais bought her winning Western Max ticket at the Kindersley Co-op gas station on 11th Avenue in Kindersley and won $1 million last month.
