Officials in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan are warning residents that if they don’t heed a request to use less water, more severe restrictions might be necessary.

The city is asking residents to reduce their water consumption while work is being done at the water treatment plant.
The city issued a request on Thursday to reduce discretionary water consumption, including car washing, laundry, and washing of pets.
While flows dropped Friday, water use rebounded Saturday.
