Tens of thousands gathered to celebrate their regional culture at the annual Vancouver Vaisakhi parade to honour the Sikh religion and culture.

The parade made its way south on Main Street, east on Southeast Marine Drive, north on Ross and Fraser streets and west on East 49th Avenue. Many police officers were on hand to ensure the event ran smoothly, but there were no reports of any incidents.
