Regina Police catch five people breaking into buildings overnight

REGINA – Police responded to two different break and enter attempts Friday night, and have apprehended all five suspects.

Both incidents happened around 9:30 p.m.

Officers were called to Winnipeg Street near 1st Avenue for a report of three men breaking into a business.

All three have been arrested and are now facing charges.

In an unrelated incident, officers responded to a home on Wascana Street and 2nd Avenue North for a break and enter in progress.

Two women broke into the house when the residents were still inside.

As a result, one resident was assaulted, but did not receive any serious injuries.

The female suspects were arrested and will be charged.
