Police investigate after man is stabbed in metro

MONTREAL – A violent metro attack took place in Montreal’s metro system Thursday night.

An 18-year-old man was stabbed at the Rosemont station on the Orange line just before midnight.

He was rushed to hospital with critical injuries, but is now in stable condition.

A bus driver at the station who witnessed the attack called police to scene.

Investigators don’t know how many people were involved in the attack.

They are still looking for suspects in connection with the incident.

This is the second time someone has been violently attacked in the metro this week.

Wednesday, a 41-year-old bus driver travelling home after his shift was attacked.
