Residents complain of beg bugs at Toronto public housing units

TORONTO – Residents of a Scarborough apartment building met Wednesday evening to discuss the growing problem of bed bugs and cockroaches in their Toronto public housing units.

Residents claim the bugs have been spreading throughout the property at 17 Brimley Road for some time.

A meeting was held Wednesday to brief residents on the TCHC’s plan to get rid of the bugs which many say are taking an emotional toll.

Officials say an inspection of all units will begin early next month before pest control workers sweep the building.
