MONTREAL – Police are investigating after a man was found stabbed inside an apartment.
An ambulance responded to a 911 call Tuesday night around 8:30 p.m. on Pigeon avenue in Montreal North.
The body of a 51-year-old victim was found bearing evident signs of violence.
On site, police found a 21-year-old man who had also been stabbed.
He was arrested and brought to hospital to treat his injuries.
Officials say he was an acquaintance of the victim and they will speak to him once his condition improves.
This is the city’s ninth homicide of the year.
