REGINA – RCMP are investigating a case of animal cruelty after a dog was found shot northeast of the town of Lumsden last week.

Investigators believe the dog was shot with a shotgun using buckshot sometime between 9:00-11:00 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, April 2.

The dog was left to suffer until it was discovered by its owners and taken to a vet to be treated for its injuries.
