EDMONTON — Three people were taken to hospital Thursday evening after a two-vehicle collision south of Edmonton.
Emergency crews were called to the collision on Highway 814 at Airport Road, just south of Beaumont, around 5:30 p.m. Several
RCMP say an SUV was heading north on Highway 814 when it T-boned a car, which was heading west on Airport Road. Officers say the car came to a stop at the intersection, but failed to proceed safely onto the highway.
The driver of the car was airlifted to an Edmonton hospital by STARS Air Ambulance.
Two other people — a passenger of the car and the driver of the SUV — were taken to hospital by ground ambulance.
All three people, whose identities have not been released, were listed in stable condition Thursday night.
