A garbage truck rollover closed the northbound lanes of the Allen Expressway on March 18, 2015. MTO

TORONTO – The northbound lanes of the Allen Expressway are closed due to a garbage truck rollover Wednesday morning.

Collision: NB Allen Expressway, north of Eglinton Ave W. Garbage truck on it's side. Emergency crews on scene. Expect delays. ^rm

The incident happened just before 6 a.m. north of Eglinton Ave. W.

EMS say the driver of the truck was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

All northbound lanes are currently blocked between Eglinton and Lawrence.
