MONTREAL – Residents on the Plateau were the latest victims of a major water main break Tuesday morning.
It happened just before 2 a.m. on Saint-Laurent at the corner of Laurier.

Several streets in the surrounding area were completely flooded.
A resident even shot a video of a ‘geyser’ shooting water up in the air.
Fighterfighters and city workers spent most of the morning trying to clear the drains and cap the gusher.
Saint-Laurent Boulevard was closed in both directions but re-opened just after 10:30 a.m.
