In-demand occupations will be in the spotlight as a provincial initiative makes a stop in Vernon Friday. A WorkBC “Find Your Fit” event will be in at W.L. Seaton Secondary.

The provincial governments believes there will be a million job openings by 2022 and Friday will be a chance for anyone to try their hand at skills needed for in-demand jobs.
Occupations highlighted on the event’s website include heavy equipment operator, truck driver, construction inspector and geologist.
The event is free and open to the public between three and seven p.m.
