GUELPH, Ont. – A man has died while stringing up Christmas lights in Guelph, Ont.
Police say the victim is a 29-year-old man from Elora, just northwest of Guelph.

The man was apparently employed by a company to put up the lights and was using a large aluminium pole that came in contact with a hydro wire.
It happened on Harrison Avenue in the city’s downtown area.
