Manitoba – Portage RCMP are investigating a collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian early Saturday morning.
Officers say the crash happened around 5:30 AM, in the Long Plain First Nation.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured. The pedestrian was struck and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Alcohol is considered a factor in the crash. The name of the deceased is not being released.
